A recent story of a boy who brought a home-made clock to school, the consequences, and the social media uproar.
Turn and Talk:
What does the boy's social image/digital footprint now consist of? Is it helpful or damaging?
Who controlled his digital footprint at that point?
Next consider:
If he had created an online video/posted about his project online, would his digital footprint be the same or different? Why?
Who would be in control of his digital footprint if this was the case?
